Hi everyone!
I got my hair chemically straightened today with a Keratin treatment! It's very straight now and it is supposed to stay that way after it gets wet! My hair is like the devil so I am not crossing my fingers that it will dry stick straight (in fact, i'd just about be the happiest girl in the world if that actually happened) but I will keep a keratin diary and let you know how well I think this treatment works in case anyone else is considering it. It was a bit pricey... cough $300...but if your hair is anything like mine than you know that anything is worth a try!
I also got a manicure! polish is O.P.I. Royal Rajah Ruby. Ring is David Yurman.
And the cherry on top of this day was the free pedicure I got.
Yes, free!
You know you're a good customer when..!

Thanks for your comment! It's the shopping dilemma!
I'm very interested to know how your keratin treatment turns out, I was thinking about doing it for a while I just love my curls so I don't know if it would be worth it, and it is so expensive!

Hair looks gorgeous, hopefully it ends up being worth the steep price :)
Ugh, I wish I could do keratin! I've heard it does AMAZING things for your hair and I've seen it in action on many friends and it's impressive.
Love the nails too!!
Looks gorgeous! I'm scared of damaging my hair with permanent styling though, so keep us updated on how your hair does!
I know exactly what your saying!! My hair is the curly devil too, and I live by the beach so humidity KILLS. I hope it works out!! And if yours does I might just have to try it....
David Yurman is my absolute fave!! LOVE the ring! xo
This is my second visit to this blog. We are starting a new initiative in the same category as this blog. Your blog provided us with valuable information to work on. You have done a admirable job!

keratin treatment for hair
Hi,
I came across your blog when I was looking for ways to straighten my hair. I am a bloke but my hair is bit lengthier than most other men out there. Do you know of any guys who had done this treatment. Not sure whether I should try this or just use a relaxer. So confused with all the options. I did find some information regarding men's hair relaxers here.
